Specialities and areas of interest
I have over 25 years of experience working with children, young people and their families. My teaching background, in mainstream, PRU and special schools, has equipped me with a unique understanding of the challenges children may face and the importance of collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals. I use a humanistic, child-centred, non-directive approach to play therapy. I utilise the creative arts: music, art, drama, and movement to enrich the opportunities for a playful approach to therapy. I have extensive experience of working with neurodivergent children and those with additional needs. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space where children can express themselves freely and feel valued.
What do you enjoyed outside of work?
I love going for walks with my dog and playing my saxophone in a band.
